Shaun Martin

Attorney Shaun Martin is an associate at SWMW Law. He joined the firm in 2023, focusing his practice on helping individuals and families affected by mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases.

In his role at SWMW Law, Shaun utilizes his wealth of experience in asbestos litigation to maximize recoveries for his clients. His upbringing closely resembles that of his clients, allowing him to form a close relationship to those he represents.

“I relate to many of my clients on a personal level,” he said. “I come from a blue-collar family and was the first in my family to go to college. I know what it’s like to work hard for everything I have, much like my clients. It’s important that my clients know they will always have an honest and trusted advocate in me as their attorney.”

With an eye for detail and a passion for helping others, Shaun excels in the fast-paced world of trial work and emphasizes the importance of tailoring his approach to a case based on each client’s unique situation.

“I am meticulous when it comes to reviewing the records that deal with my clients’ cases and take great care to listen to them in order to fully understand everything they’ve experienced,” he said. “I am inspired by this type of work and take great pride in helping those who were harmed through no fault of their own. Securing justice and stability for my clients and their families is something that inspires me on a daily basis.”

Prior to joining SWMW Law, Shaun worked in the areas of medical malpractice defense and plaintiff personal injury and spent several years in asbestos litigation with a large, nationwide firm.

Outside of the firm, Shaun is very active in his church and enjoys playing slow-pitch softball, watching Cardinals baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
