Brendan Patterson
Associate
Attorney Brendan Patterson is an associate at SWMW Law. He has dedicated his practice to helping individuals and their families who have been affected by asbestos-related diseases, including mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure.
In his role at SWMW Law, Brendan works on all aspects of a case, driven by his desire to make the world a better place and give clients a no-nonsense advocate in the courtroom. His background and humble beginnings allow him to strongly relate to his clients, who were often injured while working hard to provide for their families.
“I come from very humble beginnings,” Brendan said. “I had to work several jobs to put myself through law school and know what it’s like to work hard for everything I have. I can relate to our clients’ hopes and dreams, their struggles, and know I can be the advocate they deserve and trust.”
A St. Charles County native, Brendan was inspired to become an attorney through a nontraditional path.
“I previously sold health insurance and witnessed how our healthcare system repeatedly fails the people in our society in who need help the most,” he said. “It weighed heavily on my mind and heart, and I knew I had to do something to help. I decided law school was the best way to do that and have dedicated my career to helping anyone I can.”
Brendan received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lindenwood University and his Juris Doctor from the St. Louis University School of Law.
