Nationwide Mesothelioma Litigation Representation
At SWMW Law, we are passionate about helping people harmed by asbestos exposure. We have been focused on this area of the law for decades and will work tirelessly to make sure you recover the compensation that you and your family deserve. To that end, our goal is to put money in your hands as quickly as possible, and for some clients, that can happen within 90 days of our first meeting.
When you hire our team, our mesothelioma lawyers, paralegals, and clinical will immediately review your medical records and start to investigate how you were exposed to asbestos. We will hunt down the companies that caused your illness and relentlessly prosecute your case against these defendants to ensure you are compensated for your medical bills, pain and suffering, and other losses. Though we have negotiated thousands of favorable settlements in these cases, we are also trial-tested and have successfully taken on massive businesses with deep pockets. With over $750 million collectively recovered for our clients across our attorneys’ careers, we are proud to say our results speak for themselves.
Wherever you are in the United States, we will come to you to learn more about your story and what we can do to help. You pay nothing unless we recover compensation for you, so call (855) 744-2656 or contact us online to schedule a free initial consultation today.
Do I Have a Case If I Developed Mesothelioma after Asbestos Exposure?
Mesothelioma is an extremely aggressive type of cancer that is caused by the inhalation, ingestion, or contact with asbestos fibers. Inhaling or ingesting asbestos particles can cause mesothelioma to develop decades later, even if the exposure was only for a short period of time. Asbestos particles can also be brought home, meaning the family of someone who works in an environment containing asbestos could become exposed and develop this condition.
The unfortunate truth is that countless employers were fully aware of the hazards posed by asbestos but nevertheless chose to not warn their employees about its presence in their work environments. This failure to disclose will often constitute negligence if it can be proven that there is a link between someone’s workplace asbestos exposure and their mesothelioma diagnosis.
In other words, if you were exposed to asbestos at work (or you lived with someone who was exposed to asbestos at work) and your employer never warned you about the possibility of asbestos exposure and the consequent risks, you could have a case. This is true even if the exposure happened many years or even decades ago.

What to Expect
When You Choose SWMW Law
We will advance all case costs and only request payment if we successfully secure a settlement or verdict for you. You will never pay anything out of pocket.
We will ask you specific questions we have tailored to efficiently and accurately identify what asbestos exposure caused your mesothelioma and what companies are responsible for your condition. You do not necessarily need to know all of the answers the first time we talk: Many of our clients do not. That is why we will work with you to figure out where, when, and how you were exposed.
We will diligently look into the specifics of your case, interviewing former coworkers and family members to best understand when and how you were exposed to asbestos.
Using the information, knowledge, and resources we have amassed from past mesothelioma and asbestos cases, we will build the strongest claim we can. Our team will get to work immediately and in many instances can have a case filed within two weeks of our first meeting.
We will remain communicative throughout each step of the legal process.
We will take the trust you place in us seriously, treating your family with compassion and respect.
We will pursue the best legal argument to ensure you obtain the just compensation you deserve.
How We Recover Compensation for Mesothelioma Through Civil Litigation
In some cases, we may be able to get you compensation through an existing asbestos bankruptcy trust. If this avenue is not available, we will likely explore filing a civil lawsuit against the company or companies who were responsible for your exposure and failed to disclose the dangers of asbestos.
There are hundreds of companies that made asbestos products, used asbestos at their factories, and sold asbestos products that were used in homes across the United States. Most of these companies have already been sued many times. We know how to go after them, their insurance companies, and other responsible parties to compensate you. We move quickly and decisively to file suit in the best jurisdictions for our clients’ cases, and we press hard for trial dates that can happen for our living mesothelioma clients as soon as six months from the date we request a trial. This helps ensure that we maximize your compensation and put money in your pocket as quickly as possible.
