Steve Wohlford

Steve is one of the founding members of SWMW Law and manages firm operations and financials. Steve also serves on the intake committee and oversees our probate department in connection with wrongful death cases and related fiduciary distribution issues. Steve also helps manage new case development for the firm.
Prior to forming SWMW Law, Steve spent several years handling litigation, transactional and probate matters for families and businesses in Madison County, Illinois. Steve also serves as general counsel for various partnerships and has extensive experience managing closely held corporations. This wide range of experience gives Steve a multi-faceted view of the law, which he leverages in developing creative and customized solutions for his clients.
A native of Edwardsville, Illinois, Steve attended John Burroughs School in St. Louis before heading to Trinity College (CT) for his undergraduate studies. Steve returned home to get his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law.
Steve lives in St. Louis with his wife and their two children.
