SWMW Law Named a ‘Top Workplace’ in St. Louis

SWMW Law, one of the top plaintiffs law firms in the country focusing on representing victims of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases, as well as individuals harmed by drugs, medical devices, environmental and toxic exposures, and consumer fraud, is proud to announce The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has recognized the firm as a Greater St. Louis Top Workplace for 2023.

The selection process for this accolade is based entirely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey conducted by Energage LLC, a trusted partner specializing in employee engagement technology.

The confidential survey evaluated 15 fundamental culture drivers essential to the success of organizations, including alignment, execution and connection.

“We strive every day to cultivate a diverse, inclusive, and supportive culture where different perspectives are valued and encouraged,” said Member Ben Schmickle. “Our employees are the heartbeat of our firm and we believe in regularly rewarding that dedication. We’re incredibly proud of our team and the environment we’ve created here and know we couldn’t be a Top Workplace without top employees.”

SWMW Law’s one-of-a-kind culture is made possible by the firm’s guiding principle: Because People Matter. After working at larger firms for several years, the firm’s founding partners opened SWMW Law in 2012 with a mission to take a more personal approach to helping asbestos victims and consumers. That people-first approach has served as the foundation for how the firm serves its clients, supports and empowers its employees, and gives back to the community.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of.”
