Abby Schneider

Attorney Abby Schneider is an associate at SWMW Law. She joined the firm in 2025, focusing her practice on helping individuals and families affected by mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases.

Before joining the firm, Abby completed an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s office in the Southern District of Illinois, as well as an internship with in-house counsel at the American Association of Orthodontists. She also penned a piece entitled “Food Inspections: Searching for Contamination (and Solutions) in a Haystack” for the Journal of Food Law & Policy.

Abby prides herself in her ability to connect with clients, a trait that she considers imperative in asbestos litigation.

“Clients suffering from an asbestos-related disease are often living the most difficult part of their lives,” she said. “It’s important they know that I’m here for them in every way possible, that they can call me with any questions or concerns, and that they can rest easy knowing that I’m working on the most positive outcome for them.”

Abby thrives in the fast-paced world of asbestos litigation and realizes the importance of tailoring her approach to a case based on each client’s unique situation. Her dedication to her clients is mirrored by her commitment to the community. Since 2018, she has volunteered with Stray Rescue in St. Louis as a foster mom for dogs and cats at the shelter.
