Tara Kirsten King, Associate
Tara focuses her practice on third-party liability lien resolution and compliance. She devotes her efforts to researching and analyzing complex subrogation issues and serving as an advocate and effective conduit between our clients and co-counsel. She strives to maximize our clients’ recoveries and to ensure lien resolution is reached fairly, thoroughly, and expeditiously. Tara also complements our legal team with her experience in mass tort litigation.
Tara completed her legal studies at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she completed a joint degree program, earning both her Juris Doctorate and a Masters Certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Tara received a Merit Scholarship to the College of Law, as well as a full University Scholarship to the Graduate School. While completing her academic studies, Tara also served as an officer in multiple organizations and was a Senior Articles Editor for The Human Rights Quarterly.
Upon graduation in 2011, Tara began working in Complex Settlement/Fund Administration and Mass Tort Healthcare Compliance. She then joined a St. Louis-based law firm specializing in pharmaceutical and product device litigation, where she coordinated all aspects of the practice. Tara managed several mass tort dockets from case intake through settlement distribution.
Tara is originally from Lewiston, New York, and currently resides in Clayton, Missouri, with her son. She enjoys spending time with her son, and appreciates fine art and music.
