SWMW Law Welcomes Two New Attorneys

SWMW Law, one of the top law firms in the country focusing on asbestos litigation, is proud to announce the addition of attorneys Holly L. Deihl and Andy Balcer to the firm’s asbestos practice.

“We are excited to welcome both Holly and Andy to our firm where they will continue to work on behalf of victims of asbestos-related cancer and securing them the justice they deserve,” said founding partner Ben Schmickle. “They are both leaders in asbestos litigation who bolster our mesothelioma practice both in St. Louis and the Northeast and we’re happy to have them on our team.”

Based in Pennsylvania, Deihl will bring close to 15 years of experience to the firm’s asbestos practice as a partner. Prior to joining SWMW Law, she clerked for the Hon. Gregory Olson, a judge for the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas in Indiana. From there she worked at at a plaintiffs firm in Pennsylvania where she was made shareholder, later leaving to start her own firm in 2018. Diehl received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, Altoona College in 2001 and her juris doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 2004.

Balcer is based in the firm’s St. Louis office as senior counsel and uses his 13 years of experience to manage a team of litigators in the firm’s asbestos practice. Prior to joining SWMW Law, he was an associate at a large plaintiffs firm in St. Louis. He received his undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University and his juris doctor degree from Saint Louis University School of Law.
