Suvir Dhar, Partner
Suvir is an experienced and respected asbestos litigator who has dedicated both his professional and personal pursuits to helping people. Early in his legal career, he decided to focus his efforts on fighting on behalf of employment-related asbestos and other toxic exposure victims, who were facing terminal cancer diagnoses at the hands of their employers.
Prior to joining our firm, Suvir spent 10+ years at one of the country’s largest asbestos law firms, where he recovered several multi-million dollar settlements for his clients. As a partner at SWMW, Suvir is closely involved in leading our asbestos trial teams, working with our clients across the country as they navigate the litigation process.
Outside of the courtroom, Suvir is passionate about supporting the St. Louis community, serving on the boards of the United Way and the De La Salle Charter School, which gives underprivileged students the educational and social support they need to succeed.
He was also named as one of the “40 under 40” by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2019, where he was lauded as the “Robin Hood for cancer patients.”
Suvir lives in St. Louis with his wife, Jen, and their two young children.
